Over the past 8 months, Tintisha have been working hard alongside St. James Systems designing and developing a brand new web site for Peterborough Cathedral.

The Cathedrals previous web site design was tired and in much need of a facelift, which is where Tintisha have worked their magic designing a new website that could propel the Cathedral into the 21st century.



Features of the new web site design include:

• Content managed system allowing the Cathedral web editors to update web site content from the comfort of their offices.
• RSS News feed to keep Cathedral visitors up to date with the latest news.
• Events list - updated by the cathedral, lists forthcoming events as well as category specific events.
• Prayer & Sermon archive - Cathedral staff are able to upload weekly prayer and sermon sheets to the web site. Visitors can view the prayer and sermon sheets by month and year.
• Image gallery maintained by the Cathedral editors. Images can be downloaded in hi-res format through the Press & PR section of the web site.
• Interactive Flash timeline, educating visitors to the site about the Cathedrals people of the past.
• Newsletter signup section linked to Constant Contact account

The website was officially launched on Mon 3rd August 2009.
